About the role

As we scale, the finance function has to scale ahead of the business — clean books, on-time filings, airtight compliance, and numbers the Founder can act on without double-checking. That is this role: full ownership of accounts and compliance, end to end, as the senior-most finance leader in the company.

What you'll own1. Accounting — end to end

• Complete ownership of books of accounts: monthly closing, reconciliations, AP/AR, fixed assets, inventory accounting.
• Accurate, on-time MIS to the Founder — monthly P&L, cash flow, and the numbers that drive decisions.

2. Compliance — the full calendar

• All statutory compliance for an Indian company: GST, TDS, income tax, PF/ESI, professional tax, ROC/MCA filings.
• Zero-miss compliance calendar — every filing on time, every register current, every notice answered.

3. Audit & governance

• Own statutory audit, internal controls, and audit-readiness through the year — not just at year-end.
• Company secretarial coordination (board resolutions, annual filings); handled in-house if CS-qualified.

4. Banking, payroll & vendor finance

• Banking operations and relationships; payroll processing interface; vendor payments discipline and partner payment cycles.

5. Building the function

• Lead and grow the accounts team; set up the processes, systems, and controls that keep finance ahead of the company's growth.

What we're looking forMust-have

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• Minimum 3 years of end-to-end accounts & compliance ownership at a company in India — you have personally run the full cycle, not one slice of it.
• Strong working command of GST, TDS, income tax, payroll statutory, and ROC/MCA compliance.
• Hands-on with accounting systems/ERP and advanced Excel.
• Available to join immediately.

Added advantage

• Qualified Company Secretary (CS) in addition to CA.
• Experience in e-commerce, manufacturing, trading, or inventory-led businesses.
• Exposure to handling departmental notices, assessments, and audits independently.
