Role & responsibilities

• Legal Advisory
• Provide expert legal counsel across contracts, employment law, litigation, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct legal research and ensure continuous alignment with evolving laws and regulatory changes.
• Compliance Management
• Oversee compliance with RBI, IRDAI, PMLA, DPDPA, ITA and other applicable laws.
• Drive corrective actions on audit/inspection observations and regulatory commitments.
• Ensure timely submission and followthrough on obligations to regulatory bodies.
• Contract & Documentation
• Draft,vet, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and legal documents.
• Maintain robust documentation standards and ensure accuracy, completeness, and legal soundness.
• Risk Mitigation
• Identify legal risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Implement frameworks, policies, and procedures to minimize exposure.
• Leadership & Stakeholder Support
• Lead the Legal & Compliance team and oversee departmental operations.
• Support HR, Admin, IT, and Business verticals with legal and compliance matters.
• Empanel and manage external legal vendors for specialized requirements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong analytical and problemsolving capability with ability to interpret complex legal issues.
• Excellent business acumen with ability to align legal advice to business strategy.
• Indepth understanding of RBI Regulations, IRDAI guidelines, PMLA, DPDPA, ITA
• High attention to detail; strong contract drafting and vetting skills.
• Effective communication and project management skills.
• Collaborative, resultoriented, and proactive approach.
