Head - IT Infrastructure

Managerial Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute the IT infrastructure strategy in alignment with the bank's business goals. Lead the modernization of the banks IT infrastructure to ensure scalability, security, and resilience.

2. Oversee the management of all IT infrastructure components, including networking, virtualization, storage, and server administration. 

3. Ensure the infrastructure supports the bank's operational needs and regulatory requirements.

4. Lead and manage IT infrastructure projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Implement best practices in project management to mitigate risks and ensure successful project outcomes.

Functional Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to develop and implement comprehensive IT security policies. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.

2. Manage relationships with IT vendors, including negotiating contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and ensuring timely renewal of all IT services and maintenance contracts.

3. Lead and mentor the IT infrastructure team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. Assess training needs and ensure adequate training is provided to team members.

4. Develop and maintain the bank's business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure minimal disruption to operations in case of an IT failure.

5. Provide key inputs to senior management on IT-related issues and developments. Participate in IT committee meetings and advise top management on IT projects and strategy.

Experience Required:

12 - 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the banking industry.

Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CISSP, ITIL, or PMP are advantageous.

Strong leadership and project management skills. Excellent understanding of IT infrastructure components and best practices. 

Proven ability to manage large-scale IT projects and teams.
