Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage fleet operations, including vehicle tracking, GPS monitoring, and vendor management.
• Oversee fleet maintenance and ensure timely repairs to prevent breakdowns.
• Develop and implement strategies for efficient route planning and optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues related to vehicle movement and logistics.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain accurate records of all activities.
• Position Summary
• The Head – Fleet Management will be responsible for the overall planning, operation, maintenance, utilization, compliance, and performance of a fleet of approximately 200 vehicles deployed for Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) collection, transportation, and related services. The role involves ensuring maximum fleet availability, cost optimization, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and implementation of technology-driven fleet management systems.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Automobile Engineering.
• MBA in Operations or Supply Chain Management preferred.
• 12–15 years of fleet management experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience managing large fleets (150+ vehicles), preferably in MSW, logistics, transportation, infrastructure, or municipal services.
