Head Fastener Manufacturing & Production

We are looking for a technically strong professional with extensive hands-on experience in cold forging/cold heading of nuts, bolts and automotive fasteners to lead our manufacturing operations.

• Lead and optimise cold forging/cold heading operations for nuts, bolts and other automotive fasteners.
• Possess in-depth knowledge of multi-station cold forging machines, machine setup, tooling selection, die design considerations and process parameters.
• Troubleshoot forging defects, dimensional variations, cracks, laps, underfilling, tool breakage and other process-related issues.
• Improve machine utilisation, cycle time, output per shift and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Work closely with tool-room and maintenance teams to improve machine reliability and minimise breakdowns.
• Lead trials for new fastener designs, materials, dies and process improvements.
• Drive reduction in PPM, internal rejection and customer rejection.
• Monitor production KPIs, machine downtime, rejection, tooling costs and conversion costs.

Note: Candidates with general production experience but without substantial hands-on fastener manufacturing expertise will not be considered.
