Head Engineering Services

Responsibilities :

• To ensure smooth functioning of all utility / Pollution Control Services at Haldia.
• To plan activities like Spare Management, preventive maintenance schedules, implementation of CLIT.
• To initiate / plan / implement projects for capacity, install pollution control devices to comply statutory norms.
• To achieve savings on account of vendor development, energy savings, planning etc.
• Monitoring and control of all expenses in the area of indirect labor, repairs and maintenance, consumables, fuel, overtime.
• To ensure meeting of the legal requirements, consent compliance, statutory legal returns and maintain cordial relations with various government agencies.
• To initiate immediate action in case of violations if any.
• To coordinate with vendors, logistics to develop local spares.
• To assess competency of subordinates, training needs and arrange for training
