Head - Data Centre Sales - Data Centre Cooling

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech - Mechanical

Preferred: B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical + MBA (Marketing)

Role Overview:

A leading organization is looking for a Head - Data Centre Sales to drive business growth in the rapidly expanding Data Centre cooling segment. The role will be responsible for developing key accounts, managing large deals, expanding market share and achieving business targets across India.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive Data Centre cooling business across Booking, Billing, Collections and Value Addition.

- Develop strong relationships with Data Centres, PMC/Consultants, Builders, Contractors and key customers.

- Identify new business opportunities and proactively position Data Centre cooling products.

- Manage and convert large/big-ticket deals into orders.

- Work closely with Projects, Product Management and R&D teams to ensure technical compliance and successful execution.

- Build brand visibility through technical forums, customer engagement and market development initiatives.

- Coordinate with factories for inspections, production and timely deliveries.

- Develop and execute segment-specific marketing and business development plans.

- Drive market share, customer satisfaction and sales targets across the Data Centre segment.

- Extensive PAN-India travel will be involved.

Ideal Candidate:

- 10+ years of overall experience, with 4 - 5 years of relevant Data Centre cooling sales experience.

- Strong technical understanding of Data Centre cooling products.

- Experience in Data Centre HVAC/cooling solutions, chillers and related systems.

- Strong techno-commercial and sales management capabilities.

- Experience handling large-value deals and complex negotiations.

- Good understanding of competition and market dynamics.

- Strong network with Data Centre customers, consultants, PMCs, builders and contractors.

- Excellent business development, negotiation and relationship management skills.

- Strong business acumen, influencing ability and execution orientation.

- Candidates with experience in HVAC/air-conditioning companies or Data Centre cooling businesses will be preferred.
