Head Corporate Communications and Public Relations

Purpose of the Position

The purpose of this position is to lead the Companys corporate communications, public relations, brand reputation, media engagement and stakeholder communication initiatives.

The role will drive effective internal and external communication, strengthen the Company’s corporate narrative and brand positioning, enhance visibility and reputation, support business growth, manage communication risks and lead digital and social media initiatives in compliance with applicable requirements.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement the Company’s corporate communication strategy aligned with business objectives and brand positioning.
• Build corporate narratives and maintain consistent messaging across internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead media relations, public relations and reputation management initiatives.
• Advise Management, CXOs and Key Managerial Personnel (KMPs) on strategic communication, media engagement.
• Drive B2B and B2C marketing campaigns to promote NPS, retirement planning and financial wellness.
• Manage relationships with media, journalists, industry forums and communication agencies.
• Monitor and evaluate PR and media campaign effectiveness, public perception, competitors and industry trends through relevant metrics and provide strategic insights to Management.
• Drive digital and social media communication to strengthen brand visibility and stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure effective and consistent communication across Business, Sales & Marketing, Risk, Compliance, Operations, IT and HR.
• Develop and implement crisis communication strategies and oversee timely responses to communication and reputational risks.
• Ensure all communications comply with brand guidelines and applicable regulatory, compliance and governance requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Post graduate degree in Communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or a related discipline from a reputed institution.
• 10–12 years of relevant experience in Corporate Communications, PR, Media Relations or Brand Communications.
• Experience in advising senior leadership and managing external communication partners.
• Strong cross-functional coordination and ability to manage multiple initiatives.
• Proven expertise in leadership communication, reputation management and crisis handling.
• Experience in managing sensitive and high-impact communication situations.
• Experience in BFSI/financial services or working with regulated entities will be an added advantage.
