Head Contracting

Head – Contracting | Hyderabad

We are partnering with a leading group to identify a *Head – Contracting* to lead contracting governance for high-value and critical contracts across the business.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead contracting standards, governance and risk frameworks for critical contracts
• Own clause libraries, templates, drafting guidelines and negotiation playbooks
• Advise business and negotiation teams on contractual risk, positions and fallback options
• Drive contract lifecycle governance through CLM and ensure effective tracking of key obligations
• Oversee post-award contract performance, including variations, claims, LDs, EOTs and contractual remedies
• Work closely with Legal, Procurement, Finance, Projects, Operations and Business teams
• Translate contract learnings and disputes into stronger contracting standards and processes

We are looking for:

• 12–15 years of experience across Contracts
• Strong experience in infrastructure, airports, energy, land development or similar complex project environments
• Significant exposure to EPC / project / commercial contracts
• Experience in contract governance, risk assessment and complex negotiations
• Strong understanding of claims, variations, LDs, contractual obligations and post-award management
• LLB/LLM preferred
• Strong stakeholder management and leadership capabilities
