Head Cashier in Retail(West Bengal, Odisha,Bihar, Jharkhand)

Role & responsibilities

• Supervise cashiers and daily cash counter operations.
• Ensure accurate billing, payments, and cash handling.
• Manage cash reconciliation and daily closing.
• Monitor UPI, card, cash, and other transactions.
• Resolve billing/customer issues and support smooth checkout.
• Train and guide cashiers on SOPs and cash-handling procedures.
• Prepare cash and transaction reports and ensure compliance.

Preferred candidate profile

• Graduate with 5 to 7 years of working experience as cashier in any retail.
• Experience in handling cashiers and cash counter operations.
• Good knowledge of POS, billing, UPI, card, and cash transactions.
• Strong cash reconciliation and accuracy skills.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Responsible, trustworthy, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to lead and train cashier staff.
