Brief Role & responsibilities

• Lead the Biomedical Engineering function and ensure efficient management of all medical equipment across the hospital.
• Plan and manage preventive and breakdown maintenance, calibration, and timely servicing of medical equipment.
• Ensure maximum equipment uptime, reliability and patient safety.
• Manage AMC/CMC, warranty, service contracts and vendor performance.
• Coordinate installation, commissioning and validation in consultation with clinical and user departments.
• Prepare and monitor the Biomedical CAPEX and OPEX budget.
• Ensure compliance with applicable NABH/JCI, AERB and other statutory/regulatory requirements related to biomedical equipment.
• Maintain accurate equipment inventory, asset records, service history and maintenance documentation.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Biomedical Engineering / Electronics / Electrical Engineering; M.Tech/MBA preferred.
• 12 - 15 years of relevant experience, preferably in a large multispeciality/superspeciality hospital.
