Role Summary: The Head of AI Marketing will build and lead a new division that combines a lean strategic human team with an AI agent network to establish Product Portfolio as the global category standards. This person owns the marketing strategy, the annual budget, the content and narrative direction, the key opinion leader program, and the performance of the entire system. The role requires a rare combination of brand strategy experience, hands on familiarity with AI marketing tools, and the leadership ability to build a team and its processes from the ground up.
Responsibilities
- Define and own the global marketing strategy for across B2B and consumer pull through audiences
- Recruit, onboard, and lead the founding team of six specialists based in Hyderabad
- Design and govern the AI agent network, including its scope, guardrails, approval workflows, and escalation paths
- Own the Brand Knowledge Library as the single source of truth for messaging, claims, and voice
- Manage the annual marketing budget covering technology, people, content production, and paid amplification
- Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, practitioners, researchers, and trade media
- Serve as the final approval authority for sensitive, scientific, and crisis content before publication
- Establish measurement frameworks, present monthly brand health and performance reports to leadership, and adjust strategy based on results
- Ensure all marketing output complies with applicable regulations in each target market, working with regulatory affairs
- Represent the marketing function at industry events, trade shows, and partner meetings as required
Required Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field
8 or more years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role with team and budget ownership Demonstrated experience deploying AI tools in marketing workflows, such as large language models, social listening platforms, or marketing automation systems
Experience in the nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, FMCG health, or wellness industry, with working knowledge of health claim regulations Track record of building brand authority through content, digital channels, and thought leadership
Excellent written and spoken English with strong executive communication and presentation skills. Preferred Qualifications: MBA or postgraduate qualification in marketing or business Direct experience marketing branded ingredients or B2B products with consumer pull through strategies Familiarity with FSSAI, US FDA structure function claim rules, and EFSA health claim frameworks Experience managing external agencies, consultants, and technology vendors Prior exposure to international markets, particularly the United States and Europe
