Head - Advanced Engineering & Physical R&D

Key Responsibilities

• Explore innovative mechanisms, motion systems, sensors, robotics and mechatronic technologies.
• Develop rapid prototypes, test rigs and proof-of-concept machines.
• Evaluate technical feasibility, performance, cost, risk and scalability.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering and AI & Digital R&D teams.
• Document experimental results, technical learnings and potential intellectual property.
• Transfer validated concepts to Product Management and Engineering for industrialisation.
• Build and lead a high-performing advanced engineering team.

Experience & Qualifications

• 1018+ years of experience in R&D, advanced engineering, robotics, automation or mechatronics.
• B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics or a related discipline.
• Strong expertise in mechanism design, hands-on prototyping and experimental validation.
• Proven ability to convert innovative concepts into measurable feasibility outcomes.
• Practical understanding of product development and industrialisation.
