    About this role

    Job Purpose

Lead and govern overall administration, real estate operations, infrastructure management, and workplace services across Suzlon Energy Limited, with primary accountability for the flagship global headquarters, "One Earth," campus in Pune. The role ensures world-class operational efficiency, environmental sustainability, employee experience, business continuity, regulatory compliance, and cost optimization.

    Roles & Responsibilities

    • Strategic Workplace & Infrastructure Leadership: Define and execute the operational strategy for facilities and administrative services aligned with Suzlons organizational goals and green energy ethos.

    • Green Building & Facilities Management: Maintain the high-performance ecological infrastructure of One Earth (STP, OWC, waste management, BMS, HVAC, DG, Transformers, MEP assets), ensuring continuous compliance with top-tier green building certifications.

    • Hospitality & Residential Services: Oversee executive dining, corporate cafeteria, catering partnerships, and executive/visitor guest houses, ensuring superior food safety, nutrition standards, hygiene, and service excellence.

    • Corporate Fleet & Logistics: Direct employee transit, executive transportation, fleet management, vendor dispatch protocols, route optimization, and safety compliance.

    • General Administration: Oversee visitor management systems, corporate travel desk, stationery, office supplies, mailroom, and event administrative logistics.

    • Financial Stewardship & Procurement: Drive Annual Operating Plans (AOP), OPEX/CAPEX forecasting, commercial negotiations, and contract lifecycles for all administrative and integrated facility management (IFM) partners.

    • Risk Governance & EHS: Direct disaster management plans, business continuity planning (BCP), fire-life safety protocols, and statutory administrative compliance across local, municipal, and national regulatory bodies.

    Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

    • Financial Discipline: Maintaining budgets of approved AOP (CAPEX and OPEX) within limits.
    • Sustainability & Resource Efficiency: Year-on-year energy and water consumption targets maintained to meet sustainability standards.

    • Uptime & Service Reliability: Ensuring 98% uptime of critical campus infrastructure (BMS, power backups, server room utilities, HVAC).

    • SLA & Vendor Governance: Adherence to vendor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) across IFM, catering, transport, and other Service providers.

    • Internal CSAT / Employee Experience: Satisfaction score in employee workplace service surveys.

    • Safety & Statutory Compliance: Zero critical audit non-compliances; 100% adherence to factory/commercial establishment licenses, fire safety norms, and labour laws for contractual staff.

    Key Challenges

    • Maintaining High-Level Sustainable Infrastructure: Upholding specialized, complex green systems (e.g., decentralized water treatment, on-site renewables, smart daylighting) at One Earth without cost inflation.

    • Multi-Vendor Orchestration: Managing and standardizing performance across contracted workforce ( MEP, housekeeping, catering, drivers).
    • Balancing Cost vs. Experience: Continually optimizing operating expenses while meeting the high-touch hospitality and security expectations of CXOs, global board members, and international clients.
    • Dynamic Crisis Readiness: Handling external operational disruptions (civic utility failures, local transit strikes, severe weather events) with zero downtime to mission-critical operations.

    Education & Experience:

    • Bachelors degree in Engineering (Civil/Mechanical/Electrical), Architecture, Hotel Management, or Business Administration.
    • Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Post Graduate Diploma in Operations / General Management is preferred.
    • 20-25 years of post-qualification experience in corporate administration, infrastructure, and facilities management.
    • At least 10 years in a leadership role heading corporate administration and large-scale corporate campuses with modern, sustainable building technologies.
    • Demonstrated experience interacting directly with executive leadership (C-suite/Board) and governing large operational teams.
