HCL Tech Sap GTS Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Lead SAP GTS (Global Trade Services) implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects.
• Configure and support Customs Management, Trade Compliance, and Global Trade processes.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into effective SAP GTS solutions.
• Drive end-to-end solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Manage Import and Export compliance processes, including legal and regulatory requirements.
• Support Sanctioned Party List (SPL) Screening, Embargo Checks, and Compliance Management.
• Work closely with business users, stakeholders, and cross-functional SAP teams for seamless integration with SAP ECC/S/4HANA.
• Conduct system analysis, issue resolution, user training, and knowledge transfer sessions.
• Prepare functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for developments and enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to global trade regulations and best practices across business operations.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10+ years of SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP GTS (Global Trade Services).
• Hands-on experience in Customs Management, Import/Export Processes, and Trade Compliance.
• Proven experience in SAP GTS Implementation, Rollout, Upgrade, and Support projects.
• Strong understanding of Compliance Management, Risk Management, and International Trade Regulations.
• Experience integrating SAP GTS with SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA.
• Expertise in SPL Screening, Embargo Checks, Preference Processing, and Customs Declaration processes.
• Ability to interact with business stakeholders and drive solution discussions independently.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• SAP GTS Certification will be an added advantage.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic and client-facing environment.
