About this role
- Review and analyze patient medical records and clinical documentation.
- Assign accurate ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes based on medical documentation.
- Identify and capture eligible diagnoses for HCC and Risk Adjustment coding.
- Ensure coding accuracy in accordance with applicable coding guidelines and client requirements.
- Validate diagnosis codes with appropriate supporting documentation.
- Maintain assigned quality and productivity targets.
- Participate in coding audits and implement feedback for continuous improvement.
- Stay updated on changes in coding guidelines, HCC models, and industry requirements.
- Ensure confidentiality and compliance while handling patient health information.
- Work collaboratively with the quality and operations teams to achieve business objectives.
Skills
- Who We Are Looking For
- Candidates with 2 to 5 years of experience in HCC/Risk Adjustment Coding.
- Strong hands-on experience in ICD-10-CM coding.
- Good knowledge of HCC and Risk Adjustment methodologies.
- Strong understanding of Medical Terminology, Anatomy, and Physiology.
- Ability to identify chronic conditions and accurately capture reportable diagnoses.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to consistently meet quality and productivity standards.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Immediate joiners or candidates with a shorter notice period will be preferred.
