1. What does the candidate need to do?

• Review patients' medical records from the US healthcare system.
• Identify medical conditions documented by doctors.
• Assign the correct medical codes using ICD-10-CM guidelines.
• Ensure diagnoses are supported by medical records.
• Maintain coding accuracy and meet daily productivity targets.
• Identify coding errors and documentation gaps.
• Follow US healthcare coding and compliance guidelines.

2. Must-Have Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in HCC/MRA or Risk Adjustment Coding.
• Good knowledge of ICD-10-CM coding.
• Experience reviewing medical records and validating diagnoses.
• Understanding of coding quality and compliance.

3. Preferred Qualifications

• CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification.
• CRC (Certified Risk Adjustment Coder) certification.

Certification is preferred, not mandatory, according to the JD.
