Role & responsi

l Operate and handle HMC, PDM, VMC, SPM, and HBM machines for precision machining operations.

l Perform heavy-job setting and machining of large and complex components.

l Set and operate milling and drilling tools according to machining requirements.

l Perform slot milling operations and other precision machining activities.

l Read and understand engineering drawings, machining specifications, and process requirements.

l Carry out tool setting, tool offset correction, and tool selection as per job requirements.

l Prepare, read, and modify CNC programs using FANUC controls.

l Work with different CNC control systems, particularly FANUC and SIEMENS.

l Handle and operate measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.

l Use and handle tool presenters for accurate tool measurement and setting.

l Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality of machined components through in-process inspection and measurement.

l Troubleshoot machining-related issues and make necessary corrections to achieve required dimensions and surface finish.
