We are looking for a skilled hardware engineer with a passion for embedded systems. You will contribute to the design, assembly and troubleshooting of the hardware behind our beach safety systems, keeping it running reliably in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, wire and solder hardware components with precision, to a standard built for reliability and longevity.
- Support embedded systems work, including stack development and ongoing maintenance.
- Test and debug hardware, diagnosing faults and implementing corrective action.
- Manage high-voltage Li-ion batteries, maintain the charging infrastructure and monitor state of charge.
- Interface motors and drivers within hardware designs.
- Service installed hardware at beach sites - diagnose, repair and replace faulty components.
Qualifications Skills
- Proficient in basic embedded systems and hardware design.
- Strong experience in circuit design, PCB layout, harness development, soldering and hardware assembly.
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting ability.
- Familiarity with microcontroller applications and embedded coding.
- Understanding of DC battery operations and motor interfacing.
- Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
