Role Summary:
Responsible for physical relocation, installation, and tracking of IT hardware assets. Ensures safe handling and minimal disruption during hardware moves, installations, and decommissions.
What Youll Do:
- Relocate IT hardware including desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, servers, network devices, and peripherals
- Disconnect, pack, transport, and reconnect IT equipment
- Coordinate with IT support teams and end users during office moves and hardware refresh activities
- Manage hardware inventory and asset tracking
- Label and document all moved equipment
- Verify hardware functionality after installation and relocation
- Follow company safety guidelines and hardware handling procedures
- Assist in decommissioning, disposal, and replacement of obsolete hardware
- Maintain accurate records of assets moved, installed, or removed
- Support workstation setup, cable management, and basic troubleshooting
What We re Looking For (Must-Haves):
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, peripherals, and networking devices
- Experience in hardware deployment, migration, and relocation projects
- Familiarity with asset management tools and inventory processes
- Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and cabling
- Ability to lift and move hardware equipment safely
- Good organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Problem-solving and attention to detail
