Job Description Hardware Lead Engineer

1. End-to-End Hardware Development

• Ability to work independently with minimal hand-holding and take ownership of complete hardware development.
• Proven experience in successfully completing at least 1–2 end-to-end product development cycles, covering:
  
• Prototyping and proof-of-concept development.
• Drafting specifications and designing to specifications, including schematic design, PCB design, and design reviews.
• Conducting pre-compliance EMI/EMC and electrical safety testing.
• Developing hardware verification, validation, and test strategies.
• Understanding mass production requirements, including hardware testing and assembly.

2. Areas of Expertise

• Sensor data acquisition.
• DC motor driving.
• Low-rail power design.
• Hands-on experience with microcontrollers such as STM32 or equivalent.

3. Technical Competencies

• Hardware–Firmware Integration: Strong collaboration with firmware teams throughout product development.
• Analog and Power Electronics: Analog circuit design, low-power design, and DC-DC converters.
• Microcontrollers: Microcontroller-based hardware design and integration.
• Board Bring-Up: PCB validation, debugging, and functional verification.
• Circuit Design: Schematic design, circuit calculations, and translating design requirements into hardware.
