Hardware Engineer

Title: HW R&D Engineer / Sr. HW R&D Engineer – Energy Monitoring & Measurement

Location: Bengaluru

Role Overview:

We are looking for Hardware R&D Engineers to work on energy monitoring and measurement products involving current, voltage, power and energy measurement. The role involves end-to-end hardware development from concept and circuit design through prototyping, validation and mass production, with a focus on analog/digital mixed-signal design and sensor technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design analog, digital and mixed-signal hardware, including schematics and PCB layouts.
• Develop and integrate current, voltage and power sensing solutions.
• Design signal conditioning, filtering and amplification circuits for accurate measurement.
• Work on sensor and magnetics sensing/design for energy measurement applications.
• Develop prototypes and perform hardware testing, debugging and validation.
• Support end-to-end product development from concept to mass production.
• Integrate wired/wireless communication interfaces for data transmission.
• Collaborate with global R&D teams on hardware development projects.
• Ensure compliance with relevant IEC, EN and UL standards.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in analog/digital or mixed-signal hardware design.
• Hands-on experience in current, voltage or power measurement.
• Experience in sensor design, PCB design/layout and schematic development.
• Good understanding of analog signal processing, filtering and amplification.
• Experience with energy metering, power electronics or IoT hardware is preferred.
• Knowledge of communication protocols such as Modbus/Ethernet is an advantage.
• Exposure to SPICE/LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink, calibration or IEC/UL/CE standards is an advantage.
• For senior roles, experience in magnetics sensing/design and end-to-end product development is preferred.
• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
