Desktop Support Engineer / IT Support Executive

Location : Hyderabad , HITEC City

Mode: Work from office

Shift : Night Shift

Competency:
Knowledge: Computer hardware, laptops, antivirus, operating systems, software and basic troubleshooting.
Behaviour: Good communication and interpersonal skills with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
Qualification: 12th + relevant certification / Diploma in IT or a related field.

Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in desktop support, IT support or a similar role.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Install and configure hardware and software systems, including bay management.
2. Maintain, repair and troubleshoot computers and laptops.
3. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and system-related issues.
4. Configure and maintain antivirus and basic computer security measures.
5. Configure computer networks and connectivity on desktops/laptops.
6. Provide technical support through the helpdesk/ticketing system.
7. Escalate major or unresolved issues to the appropriate team within the defined TAT.
8. Ensure timely closure of tickets within the agreed TAT.
9. Provide support for operating systems, basic software, antivirus and client applications.
10. Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting deadlines and priorities.
