Hardware Design Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Translate system-level and project requirements into detailed, actionable electrical specifications.
• Design and develop high-quality hardware products using Altium, Eagle, Kicad, LDOM tools.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware designs into overall system architecture.
• Work with a variety of communication interfaces including RS485, RS232, CAN, UART, I2C, SPI, and related protocols. 
• Functional 2 6 Perform end-to-end hardware design activities including component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout, and preparation of engineering documentation.
  
• Conduct thorough analysis of customer requirements and translate them into detailed specifications for DC-DC converters, chargers, power supplies, and other electronic components.
• Develop schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and documentation for production-ready designs.

Job Requirements :

• 2–5 years of experience in hardware design, prototyping, or integration. 
•  Working knowledge of schematic capture and PCB design (Altium, KiCad, Eagle, etc.). 
• Experience with: Strong understanding of analog/digital electronics and embedded systems. 
• Exposure to EMI/EMC design principles, grounding, and shielding. 
• Basic experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and debugging tools. 
• Ability to solder SMD components and perform hardware bring-up. 
• Familiar with firmware development of MUCs like AVR & ARM family microcontrollers 
• Knowledge of communication protocols used in robotics/automation (Ethernet, VDSL, RS485, RS232, CAN, UART, I2C, SPI). 
• Strong documentation and organisational skills.
