Bytebeam builds the hardware and software stacks that power the next generation of connected vehicles. Our products cover device telemetry, remote diagnostics, OTA updates, alerts, fleet workflows, and the hardware that runs in vehicles at scale.
Role OverviewWe are hiring three hardware-design interns to support telematics product design, board bring-up, debug, and engineering documentation across ByteZero, ByteX, and DMS.
What You'll Do- Support schematic capture, component selection, calculations, and PCB-review preparation.
- Bring up prototype boards and debug power, clock, reset, communication, and peripheral interfaces.
- Perform measurements and document results using appropriate lab instruments.
- Maintain BOM, alternate-part, bring-up, test-point, and design-change documentation.
- Work with firmware, validation, mechanical, sourcing, and manufacturing teams on scoped issues.
- Strong electronics fundamentals across analog, digital, power, and embedded interfaces.
- Ability to read schematics and datasheets and reason about a circuit from measurements.
- Hands-on lab experience with boards, soldering, and common test instruments.
- Availability for a full-time on-site internship.
- Altium, KiCad, LTspice, cellular, GNSS, CAN, STM32, ESP32, or automotive-electronics exposure.
- A PCB, embedded product, or lab project that you personally designed and debugged.
You become a dependable contributor to prototype bring-up and design support, with measurements and documentation that senior engineers can trust.
