Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer

Experience: 47 years of IT experience, with hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration.

Role Description

We are looking for a Guidewire PolicyCenter Configuration Developer to support the development and enhancement of PolicyCenter applications for P&C insurance clients. The candidate should have good hands-on configuration experience, be able to independently work on assigned development tasks, and collaborate effectively with the project team.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and customize Guidewire PolicyCenter using Gosu, PCF, Entity Model, Typelists, and Business Rules.

Understand business requirements and implement configuration changes across policy transactions.

Work on Product Model configurations, including coverages, modifiers, and availability rules.

Develop and support SOAP/REST integrations with external systems.

Perform technical analysis, unit testing, debugging, and defect resolution.

Follow Guidewire coding standards and participate in code reviews.

Collaborate with functional, QA, and integration teams to deliver assigned stories on time.

Required Technical Skills

Good hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter configuration.

Proficiency in Gosu, PCF, Data Model, Typelists, and Business Rules.

Understanding of PolicyCenter policy lifecycle transactions and effective-dated entities.

Working knowledge of Guidewire Product Model configuration.

Experience with SOAP/REST APIs, XML, JSON, and SQL.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology and Git.

Good problem-solving, communication, and debugging skills.

Good to Have

Guidewire PolicyCenter certification.

Experience with Guidewire Cloud implementations.

Knowledge of P&C insurance and Personal Auto or other Lines of Business.

Exposure to automated unit testing and CI/CD processes.
