Guidewire P&C Automation Senior QA / Test Lead

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Description:

• We are seeking an experienced Test Lead with expertise in Guidewire Testing, Test Automation, and API Testing to lead QA initiatives for Gore Mutual's insurance applications. The role involves defining test strategy, driving automation, leading end-to-end testing, and collaborating with business, development, and client stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery.
• The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter, along with expertise in UI/API automation and a solid understanding of P&C Insurance processes.

Key Skills & Experience

• 8+years of software testing experience.
• Strong Guidewire testing experience (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter).
• Good understanding of P&C Insurance domain.
• Hands-on experience in Java, Selenium/Playwright, and REST API testing.
• Experience with Postman, Rest Assured, Karate, and SQL/database validation.
• Expertise in SIT, Integration, Regression, E2E testing, and defect management.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and Agile/Scrum experience.

Nice to Have

• Guidewire Certification and Guidewire Cloud experience.
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).
• Cucumber/BDD, TestNG/JUnit, Git, Maven/Gradle.
• Performance testing (JMeter/LoadRunner).
• AWS and Guidewire integration testing experience.
• Experience working with insurance clients.
