Guidewire Functional Tester

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze business requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.
• Perform Functional, System Integration (SIT), Regression, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate Guidewire workflows, policy administration, claims processing, billing, renewals, endorsements, and related business functions.
• Execute test cases, identify defects, and work closely with developers and business analysts for resolution.
• Perform integration testing with external systems and APIs.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and provide testing status updates

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Guidewire PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and/or BillingCenter.
• Strong experience in Functional Testing, Defect Management, and Test Execution.
• Good understanding of P&C Insurance domain concepts.
• Experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar test management tools.
• Basic SQL knowledge for data validation.
• Exposure to API testing using Postman or SOAP UI.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
