Guidewire Billing center developer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Guidewire BillingCenter Developer with strong expertise in Guidewire implementation, configuration, integration, and customization. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing and supporting Guidewire BillingCenter applications within the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and customize Guidewire BillingCenter applications.
• Develop and maintain Guidewire configurations including PCF, Data Model, Workflows, Business Rules, and Gosu code.
• Build and support integrations using SOAP/REST Web Services and messaging frameworks.
• Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Perform unit testing, code reviews, and troubleshoot production issues.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams.
• Participate in Guidewire upgrade and migration activities.
• Follow best practices for development, deployment, and quality assurance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Guidewire BillingCenter (BC).
• Strong expertise in:
• Guidewire BillingCenter
• Gosu
• PCF Configuration
• Business Rules
• Data Model Extensions
• Batch Processes
• Workflows
• Experience with Guidewire Integration Framework.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, SOAP Services, XML, JSON.
• Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE concepts.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases (Oracle/SQL Server).
• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Guidewire BillingCenter Certified Professional.
• Guidewire Cloud experience.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of P&C Insurance domain.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
