As a Consultant in Deloitte Consulting’s AI & Engineering practice, you will support business analysis and functional transformation workstreams for insurance-focused technology initiatives. You will work with business and technology stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze processes, and help translate business needs into scalable solution outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to transformation programs that improve operational efficiency and support measurable client impact.

Work you'll do: As a Consultant, Functional Transformation on the AI & Engineering team, you will be responsible for

• Gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements with client and project stakeholders.
• Analyze current-state and future-state business processes across Property and Casualty insurance lines of business, including Commercial Auto, Business Owners, Workers Compensation, Personal Auto, and Homeowners.
• Support solution delivery by translating business needs into user stories, process flows, functional specifications, and project documentation.
• Participate in Agile delivery activities, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, and effort estimation.
• Support testing, defect analysis, knowledge management, and continuous improvement efforts across project workstreams.

The team: Deloitte’s AI & Engineering practice helps clients design, build, and scale technology-enabled solutions across software, data, AI, and cloud environments. Within this team, you will contribute to industry-focused transformation efforts that align business priorities with technology delivery. The team works across sectors to help organizations modernize operations, improve performance, and address complex business challenges.

Location : Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune/Chennai

Qualifications: Must Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• 3-6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, including experience in the insurance industry
• Experience gathering, documenting, and validating business and functional requirements
• Experience analyzing business processes for Property and Casualty insurance, including Commercial Auto, Business Owners, Workers Compensation, Personal Auto, or Homeowners
• Experience creating user stories, process documentation, or functional specifications
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments
• Experience using SQL and Microsoft Excel for analysis or data validation
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field

Good to Have Skills/Project Experience/Certifications:

• Experience supporting Guidewire projects
• Experience with insurance processes such as underwriting, claims management, policy administration, or regulatory compliance
