Guest Service Associate

Role & responsibilities

• To handle, sell and carry the food items across the counter and in the auditorium.
• To promote all promotions associated with F&B.
• To collect cash for each sale done.
• To record the sale and cash collected at the end of each shift.
• To use the POS for recording the sale.
• To record all F&B items received at the counter at the beginning - during the shift.
• To check the quality of the F&B items being placed in the warmer and cold case.
• To arrange and serve the food as per the hygiene standard using gloves and tongs.
• To use dispensing machine for coffee - tea - coke.
• To learn and use F&B selling devices such as hand held and PDA devices.
• To keep work area clean like food counter, warmers, cold cases, dispensing machine and popcorn machine.
• Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations.
• Presenting menus, suggesting dishes, assisting in drink selection, informing customers about food preparation details communicating specific customer needs to the commi.
• Obtaining revenues, issuing receipts, accepting payments, returning the change.
• Greet all guests warmly with an appropriate greeting.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
• To handle customer complaints if any while on shift.
