Guest Service Associate ( GSA )

Role Description

The GSA will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring smooth caf operations, and maintaining a welcoming and hygienic environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and teamwork, ensuring every guest enjoys a truly delightful experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests warmly, ensuring a positive dining experience
• Take and process orders efficiently while maintaining accuracy
• Operate the POS system and handle cash or card transactions responsibly
• Prepare and serve beverages and bakery products as per brand standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene protocols
• Support the team in day-to-day operations and inventory management
• Handle guest queries and complaints courteously and promptly
• Work collaboratively with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the hospitality or food service industry
• Prior experience as a Guest Service Associate / Caf Staff / Front-of-House team member preferred
• Knowledge of coffee machines and beverage preparation is an advantage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality service
• A team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
