Tipstat helps companies adopt AI where it changes the P&L: redesigning workflows around AI agents, automating operations, and getting their data and teams ready for it. Clients do not buy technology from us. They buy outcomes: faster cycle times, lower cost-to-serve, better decisions.

What we do not yet have is the machine that finds those companies and warms them up before anyone gets on a call. That is this job.

You will be the first person we hire to build demand from zero. Not to run a channel that already exists, not to manage anyone, and not to hand leads to a sales team. You will design the pipeline system, build it with AI, run it yourself, and be judged on what comes out of it. You will work directly with the founder.

This is a hybrid of growth marketing and revenue. If you think of yourself as a marketer who learned to build, or an operator who learned to sell, you are the person we are describing.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

The entire top of funnel, built from nothing: ICP definition with the founder, list building, enrichment, sequencing, content, and the landing pages.

The AI layer underneath it. We expect you to build agents and workflows rather than do the work by hand. Research, enrichment, personalisation, qualification and reporting should mostly run without you.

Qualified pipeline as your number. You own how much of it exists and how good it is, reported weekly, with your assumptions visible.

The narrative: what we say, to whom, and why it lands. Our buyer is a COO thinking about cost-to-serve or a CFO thinking about payback, not an IT team.

WHAT WE ARE ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR

Evidence you built a growth or outbound engine from zero and it produced something countable. Meetings booked, pipeline created, revenue closed, an audience grown. One real number beats five years of responsibilities.

Fluency with the modern GTM stack and the judgement to know which parts are worth it: Clay, Apollo, Instantly or Smartlead, n8n or Make, HubSpot, and LLMs used as infrastructure rather than as a writing assistant.

Something you built yourself that replaced work a person used to do. We will ask you to walk us through it in detail.

Comfort being alone in the function. No team under you, no SDR feeding you, no agency to brief. You and the systems you build.

Judgement about who is worth contacting. Volume is easy now. Relevance is the scarce skill.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS NOT

Being direct so you do not waste an application.

Not an IT staffing, services or recruitment sales role.

Not a telecalling or inside-sales seat working a provided list.

Not a brand or social media management role.

Not a people-management role. There is no team to inherit and none planned in the near term.

Not a place to learn AI tooling from scratch. You should already build with it.

HOW WE WILL EVALUATE YOU

We read every resume in full before deciding anything. We care about what you personally owned rather than what your team achieved, and we will ask which is which. Bring numbers you can defend and be precise about your own contribution. Hedged claims are the main reason we pass on people.
