GST Officer/ GST Specialist

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Manage end-to-end GST compliance for the organization, ensuring timely filing of GST returns and payment of taxes.
• Prepare, review, and file GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 and other applicable GST returns.
• Conduct GST reconciliation and vendor reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Verify and reconcile Input Tax Credit (ITC) and ensure accurate GST accounting.
• Manage TDS compliance, including calculation, deduction, reconciliation, and filing of TDS returns.
• Support GST/TDS audits, assessments, and notices and coordinate with internal/external auditors.
• Monitor e-invoicing and e-way bill compliance.
• Perform internal checks and audits to identify gaps and improve tax and accounting processes.
• Prepare MIS and reconciliation reports using MS Excel.
• Coordinate with Finance, Accounts, Procurement, and business teams to resolve GST-related issues.

• 2–7 years of experience in GST, taxation, finance, or accounting.
• Industry experience must be from Retail, FMCG, or E-commerce only.
• Strong knowledge of GST compliance, GST filing, GST returns, GST reconciliation, and Input Tax Credit (ITC).
• Good understanding of TDS compliance, TDS returns, TDS reconciliation, and TDS audit.
• Hands-on experience with GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, e-invoicing, and e-way bills.
• Strong MS Excel skills with experience in reconciliation and MIS reporting.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and auditors.
