Roles and Responsibilities:

• GST and TDS Return Filing & Compliance

Timely preparation and filing of outward and inward supply returns (GSTR-1,GSTR-3B, TDS 24Q/26Q/27Q etc.).

Ensuring zero default status and avoiding late fees or interest penalties.

• Input Tax Credit (ITC)Reconciliation

Reconciling purchase data with GSTR-2B to maximize valid ITC claims.

Following up with vendors for missing, mismatched, or erroneous invoices.

• Tax Calculation & Liability Management

Computing accurate net GST liability (CGST, SGST, IGST) after adjusting ITC.

Ensuring timely deposit of tax dues to the government electronic cash/credit ledger.

• Audit & Assessment Support

Assisting internal and external auditors by providing required tax records and documentation.

Facilitating annual return filings (GSTR-9/9C).

• Departmental Liaison & Notice Management

Handling scrutiny, queries, and formal notices issued by the GST authorities.

Preparing formal replies and maintaining audit trails for departmental communication.
