Job Summary

The Executive / Senior Executive– Indirect Taxation is responsible for ensuring end-to-end GST compliance, GST return filing, reconciliations, statutory reporting, and audit support. The role involves working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure timely compliance with GST laws, accurate tax reporting, and adherence to statutory requirements.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Sound knowledge of GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B return preparation and filing.
• Perform GST reconciliations between Books of Accounts, GSTR-2B, GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and the Electronic Credit Ledger (ECL).
• Verify vendor GST compliance and reconcile Input Tax Credit (ITC).
• Review accounting entries to ensure correct GST treatment and tax postings.
• Manage GST, E-Invoicing and e-Way Bill compliance.
• Reconcile GST liability with the Trial Balance and General Ledger.
• Maintain GST records, reconciliations, and statutory documentation.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
• M.Com or MBA (Finance) is preferred.

Experience

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in Indirect Taxation / GST Compliance.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of GST laws and related regulations.
• Hands-on experience in GST return filing and reconciliations.
• Knowledge of e-Invoicing and e-Way Bill processes.
• Good understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in ERP systems
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, and data analysis).
• Ability to work under statutory deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Good interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
