GST Associate (CA)

Job Summary

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to join our CA firm as a GST Associate. The candidate should have relevant experience in GST compliance, indirect taxation, GST audits, reconciliations, and client handling.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage GST compliance and ensure timely filing of GST returns, including GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and GSTR-9.
• Perform GST reconciliations, including GSTR-2B vs. purchase register and GSTR-1 vs. books of accounts.
• Handle GST notices, assessments, and departmental queries.
• Ensure compliance with GST laws, rules, and regulatory updates.
• Assist in GST audits, annual return preparation, and tax reconciliations.
• Review input tax credit (ITC) eligibility and resolve discrepancies.
• Support GST advisory, documentation, and compliance reporting.
• Coordinate with internal teams and clients for GST-related matters.

Required Skills:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA).
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in GST compliance and indirect taxation.
• Strong knowledge of GST laws, returns, reconciliations, and ITC.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/taxation software.

Preferred Candidate: Candidates with hands-on experience in GST compliance, reconciliation, and indirect tax matters.
