Group Talent Acquisition Lead

Role Overview:

Location: Gurgaon | Experience: 12-15 years post MBA/Engineering

Drive talent acquisition across AIG, with 70% focus on front-end recruitment and 30% on strategic sourcing, covering leadership, managerial and critical specialist positions across the Groups diverse businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Front-End Recruitment: Manage end-to-end recruitment for leadership, mid-management and critical roles, from mandate understanding and candidate assessment to stakeholder coordination, offer negotiation and joining.
• Business Partnership: Partner with business leaders and hiring managers to understand manpower requirements, define candidate profiles and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Strategic Sourcing: Build proactive talent pipelines through market mapping, competitor intelligence, referrals, direct outreach and professional networks.
• Industry Talent Mapping: Identify talent across manufacturing, steel, metals, mining, engineering, energy and other relevant industrial sectors.
• CXO Candidate & Stakeholder Management: Ensure rigorous candidate evaluation, positive candidate experience and effective management of hiring stakeholders and offer closures.
• Recruitment Analytics: Monitor time-to-hire, quality of hire, offer-to-joining ratio, recruitment costs and pipeline effectiveness; drive continuous process improvement.
• Recruitment Governance: Maintain recruitment dashboards, documentation and consistent assessment standards across Group businesses.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• 1215 years of relevant post-qualification experience, with an MBA or Engineering degree.
• Strong track record in end-to-end recruitment, including leadership and senior management hiring.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, mining, steel, metals or energy sectors preferred.
• Demonstrated expertise in talent sourcing, market intelligence, talent mapping and LinkedIn Recruiter.
• Strong stakeholder management, assessment, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Hands-on, execution-oriented professional with commercial acumen and the ability to manage multiple critical mandates in a fast-paced, diversified business environment.
