    About this role

Procurement & Cost Control Manager Australian Hospitality Group

    Company: KVMN Group
    Location: Gota, Ahmedabad, Gujarat
    Experience: Minimum 3 Years (Mandatory)
Employment: Full-Time | Work From Office

    About the Opportunity

KVMN Group, a growing Australian hospitality business group operating multiple pubs, bars, restaurants and breweries across Perth, Western Australia, is seeking a highly intelligent, analytical and commercially focused Procurement & Cost Control Manager for our Ahmedabad office.

We are not looking for someone who simply raises purchase orders or places orders with suppliers.

We need a sharp negotiator, analytical thinker and commercially minded professional who knows how to challenge supplier pricing, identify unnecessary spending, track product costs and deliver measurable savings.

Your primary responsibility will be simple: Reduce our cost of goods without compromising product quality, consistency or operational efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Supplier Negotiation & Cost Reduction

    • Negotiate aggressively and professionally with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, rebates, discounts and favourable trading terms.
    • Continuously compare supplier prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
    • Source alternative suppliers and equivalent products without compromising quality.
    • Challenge unnecessary price increases and negotiate better commercial agreements.
    • Build strong supplier relationships while protecting company profitability.

    2. Product Price Tracking & Analytics

    • Develop and maintain a centralised purchasing price database for all products across our hospitality venues.
    • Track individual SKU prices, historical purchase costs, supplier changes and price fluctuations.
    • Identify products with unusual price increases and investigate discrepancies.
    • Compare identical products purchased across different venues to ensure competitive and consistent pricing.
    • Analyse purchasing trends, supplier performance and category-wise expenditure.
    • Build advanced Excel dashboards and management reports to highlight savings opportunities.

    3. Hospitality Cost of Goods Management

    • Monitor and analyse food, beverage, liquor and other hospitality purchasing costs.
    • Work with venue managers, chefs and operations teams to identify opportunities to reduce COGS.
    • Analyse high-volume and high-value purchasing categories to prioritise savings.
    • Identify purchasing inefficiencies, unnecessary expenditure, product duplication and avoidable wastage.
    • Recommend product substitutions, bulk purchasing opportunities and supplier consolidation where commercially beneficial.
    • Support improvements in gross profit margins across all hospitality venues.

    4. Purchasing Controls & Supplier Management

    • Review supplier invoices, purchase prices and agreed contract rates.
    • Identify incorrect charges, pricing discrepancies and missed discounts.
    • Maintain supplier price lists, purchasing agreements and negotiation records.
    • Establish purchasing approval processes and cost-control procedures.
    • Monitor supplier reliability, delivery performance and product quality.
    • Ensure purchasing decisions are supported by accurate commercial analysis.

    5. Reporting & Business Intelligence

    • Prepare weekly and monthly purchasing analysis reports for senior management.
    • Report achieved cost savings against previous purchasing prices.
    • Develop supplier comparison sheets, price movement reports and spending dashboards.
    • Use Excel, Power BI or similar analytical tools to identify cost reduction opportunities.
    • Present clear recommendations backed by numbers, calculations and commercial reasoning.

    Candidate Requirements

Minimum 3 years of relevant procurement, purchasing, supply chain or cost-control experience is mandatory.

We are looking for candidates with:

    • Exceptional negotiation and supplier bargaining skills.
    • Strong analytical and numerical ability.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP and data analysis.
    • Proven experience in reducing purchasing costs and improving margins.
    • Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability.
    • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
    • Confidence to challenge supplier quotations and negotiate independently.
    • Experience managing supplier pricing, contracts and purchasing data.
    • High attention to detail and ability to identify even small pricing discrepancies.
    • Ability to work independently and take ownership of measurable cost savings.

    Preferred Experience:

    • Procurement experience in hotels, restaurants, pubs, bars, catering or food and beverage businesses.
    • Food and liquor purchasing experience.
    • Experience working with Australian or international suppliers.
    • Power BI, inventory systems or ERP software experience.
    • Multi-location or multi-branch purchasing experience.

    What We Offer

    • Opportunity to manage procurement cost analysis for multiple Australian hospitality venues.
    • Direct interaction with Australian business owners and senior management.
    • High level of independence and decision-making responsibility.
    • International business exposure.
    • Competitive salary based on experience and capability.
    • Long-term career development opportunities.
    • Opportunity to demonstrate your value through measurable financial savings.

    Important – Who Should Apply?

We want candidates who can think commercially, negotiate confidently, analyse data accurately and consistently find ways to save money.

If you simply process purchase orders without questioning prices, this role is not suitable for you.

If you enjoy finding better deals, analysing supplier costs, negotiating prices and improving profitability, we want to hear from you.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience is mandatory. Freshers will not be considered.

Office Location: Gota, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

Apply with your updated CV and examples of purchasing cost savings achieved in your previous roles.
