GROUP Operations HEAD- Automotive Industry

Candidate Competency

• Must have extensive experience in the automotive car seat cover / automotive interiors industry.
• Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience handling multi-location operations and large manpower teams.
• Ability to manage customer relationships, production targets, and operational challenges effectively.
• Energetic, disciplined, and capable of driving operational excellence across all locations.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Lead overall group operations across all plants and customer locations.
• Ensure smooth production, quality control, and timely dispatches.
• Maintain strong coordination with OEMs, plant heads, and management teams.
• Drive productivity improvement and cost optimization initiatives.
• Monitor manpower planning, deployment, and operational discipline.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of operational issues.
• Implement systems, processes, and continuous improvement practices.
• Review operational MIS, performance reports, and plant efficiencies regularly.
• Lead and mentor operational teams across locations.

Preferred Experience

• 20+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing operations.
• Strong exposure to automotive seat cover/interior manufacturing.
• Experience handling multiple plants/customers simultaneously.
• Good understanding of production, quality, logistics, and manpower operations.
