Ground Sales Head ( Medtech)

Job Summary

The Ground Sales Head will be responsible for building, nurturing, and growing the company's business within clinics and hospital segments. The role involves direct, on-ground sales efforts, including product demonstrations, negotiating with procurement departments, and leading a team to exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

•Map potential clients in the assigned territory, including hospitals and private clinics.

•Formulate and implement strategic sales plans, including identifying key accounts.

•Meet with doctors, surgeons, hospital administrators, and biomedical engineers to demonstrate product functionality and clinical benefits.

•Convert enquiries into orders, handle objections, and negotiate contracts with procurement departments.

•Cultivate long-term partnerships with healthcare professionals and Key Opinion Leaders.

•Prepare regular sales reports, analyze market trends, and submit forecasts to management.

•Ensure all sales activities comply with healthcare regulations and internal company policies.

Qualifications & Skills

•Graduate / MBA preferred (Sales/Marketing).

•8 –10 years of experience in medical devices / healthcare / pharma industry.

•Entrepreneurial mindset with strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.

•Experience in institutional sales (clinics & hospitals) is mandatory.

•Existing network with doctors and hospital decision-makers preferred.

•Strong field sales and negotiation skills.

•Territory planning and execution capability.

•Analytical and reporting skills.
