Graphic Designer

Job Overview

We are looking for a creative, skilled and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in magazine design, print layouts, event branding and digital creatives. The role involves independently handling magazine production, designing promotional materials, and developing high-quality visual content for events, marketing campaigns and digital platforms.

Role & responsibilities

1. Magazine Design & Production

• Design and develop complete magazine layouts, including covers, editorial pages, feature articles and advertisements.
• Handle magazine pagination, typography, image placement and overall visual presentation.
• Create attractive editorial layouts while maintaining consistent brand identity.
• Prepare print-ready magazine files, ensuring accurate dimensions, bleed, resolution and colour formats.
• Coordinate with the editorial team for content placement, revisions and final production.

2. Event Branding & Creative Design

• Design standees, banners, backdrops, posters, invitations and event signage.
• Create designs for stage LED screens, photo booths, registration counters and sponsor branding.
• Develop event collaterals, including brochures, certificates, award creatives and presentations.
• Adapt designs to different print and digital sizes without compromising quality.
• Support the complete visual branding of corporate events, summits, conferences and award ceremonies.

3. Digital & Social Media Creatives

• Design engaging graphics for Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and other digital platforms.
• Create promotional creatives, announcements, advertisements and email banners.
• Develop website banners, digital advertisements and marketing materials.
• Resize and adapt creatives for different platforms and campaigns.

4. Print & Production Coordination

• Prepare final artwork for magazines, standees, banners, brochures and other printed materials.
• Coordinate with printing vendors to ensure accurate colours, specifications and finishing.
• Check final designs for alignment, resolution, spelling and production accuracy.
• Manage multiple design projects and deliver within deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, preferably in publishing, media, advertising or event management.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and CorelDRAW.
• Experience in magazine layout design and print production is highly preferred.
• Good knowledge of typography, colour combinations, composition and branding.
• Understanding of CMYK, RGB, bleed, print resolutions and artwork specifications.
• Ability to independently conceptualise and execute creative designs.
• Strong attention to detail, time management and ability to work on multiple projects.
• Knowledge of Canva, motion graphics or basic video editing will be an added advantage.

Experience

2-5 years of relevant graphic design experience, with preference for candidates who have worked on magazines, publications, events or branding projects.
