Role Summary Political Engineer is hiring a

full-time, in-office Graphic Designer & Video Editor who can handle both

static visuals and video content for political communication. This role is ideal for someone who understands that political content carries

responsibility, influence, and public impact . The selected candidate will work closely with political strategists to design and edit content that builds leadership image, strengthens narratives, and communicates political messages with clarity and seriousness.

Key Responsibilities Graphic Design (Political Communication)

• Design creatives for political leaders, campaigns, and public communication
• Create posters, social media creatives, announcements, and issue-based visuals
• Maintain consistency in political branding, colours, fonts, and layout
• Ensure all designs reflect dignity, authority, and credibility

Video Editing (Political Content)

• Edit videos for political leaders, campaigns, and digital platforms
• Convert raw footage into impactful political videos
• Handle subtitles, sound balance, pacing, and basic motion elements
• Edit short-form and long-form political videos for social platforms

Platform-Specific Content

• Create content for:
• X (Twitter)
• Instagram
• Facebook
• YouTube
• Understand content behaviour and attention patterns of political audiences

Campaign & Issue-Based Support

• Support election campaigns, political announcements, governance updates, and issue-based narratives
• Deliver quick turnarounds during active campaign phases
• Assist in trend-based and moment-driven political communication

Team Coordination

• Work closely with political strategists, content writers, and social media teams
• Understand the political objective before executing designs or edits
• Follow timelines and instructions strictly during campaigns

Required Skills & Experience Experience

• 2 to 5 years of experience in graphic design and video editing
• Prior experience in political, news, media, or public communication preferred
• Strong portfolio with both design and video work related to public or political content

Technical Skills

• Graphic Design:
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• Video Editing:
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• After Effects (basic to intermediate preferred)
• Canva (quick edits and urgent creatives) preferred

Political Awareness

• Basic understanding of Indian/AP/TS political communication
• Awareness of political sensitivity, timing, and public perception
• Ability to maintain seriousness and responsibility in political content
