Graduate Engineer Trainee - Automobile

Role & responsibilities:

• Data Management & Analysis: Maintain, update, and analyze large engineering and operational datasets using MS Excel (utilizing VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and formulas).

• Technical Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports (DPRs), production metrics, or quality log summaries with a high typing speed and accuracy.

• Documentation & Entry: Digitise workshop logs, vehicle testing data, component specifications, and job cards into the companys ERP or database systems.

• Cross-Functional Support: Assist senior engineers in tracking project timelines, inventory levels, and fleet or production performance metrics.

• Process Standardisation: Coordinate with floor teams to gather raw technical data and refine it into clean, presentable dashboards for management review.

Preferred candidate profile:

• Technical Foundation: Solid understanding of automobile systems, engine mechanics, and vehicle dynamics.
• Advanced Excel Skills: High proficiency in spreadsheet management, data formatting, sorting, and reporting.
• Typing Proficiency: Excellent alphanumeric typing speed (preferred 40+ WPM) with high data entry accuracy.
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, quick learning agility, and clear written communication.
