About this role
Job Summary:
- We are looking for an experienced GPU Validation Engineer to join our Graphics/GPU validation team.
- The candidate will be responsible for validating GPU functionality, graphics drivers, gaming workloads, graphics APIs, performance, display features and system-level graphics behavior across Windows-based platforms.
- The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in GPU/Graphics validation, gaming validation, graphics APIs, performance benchmarking, driver validation, defect triage and system-level debugging.
- Experience working on Intel, AMD or NVIDIA GPU platforms and Windows-based client systems will be highly valuable.
Top Mandatory Skills:
- Strong experience in GPU/Graphics/System Validation
- Strong Windows validation experience
- Hands-on Graphics/GPU testing experience
- Good understanding of GPU architecture and graphics pipeline
- Experience with DirectX/Vulkan/OpenGL
- Experience with gaming or 3D graphics workloads
- Experience with GPU performance benchmarking
- Experience with CapFrameX/PresentMon/OCAT
- Experience with graphics driver validation
- Strong debugging and defect-triaging skills
- Experience with regression and functional testing
- Good understanding of FPS, frame time and frame pacing
- Experience working with hardware/software teams
- Execute validation of AAA games across different genres and gaming workloads.
Good to Have:
- Experience with AMD GPU platforms
- Experience with NVIDIA or Intel GPU platforms
- Knowledge of GPU architecture
- Knowledge of VRAM, PCIe and rasterization
- Display validation experience
- Power/thermal/performance validation
- BIOS validation experience
- WinDbg experience
- Windows Performance Analyzer experience
- Python scripting/automation
- Experience with automated gaming/performance testing
