GPP Consultant

As a Global PAYplus (GPP) Consultant, responsible for gathering requirements, designing, developing, and implementing PNC Banks payments transformation processes using Global PAYplus (GPP) 4.6 and 5.0. Leveraged technologies including Oracle 11g, UNIX, GPP Reporting, Scripting, and PL/SQL throughout the implementation lifecycle.

1. GPP Business Configuration

• Performed business configuration changes in Global PAYplus based on client requirements.
• Analyzed and implemented configuration updates, including:
• Creation of new static data
• Creation of new profiles
• Creation and modification of business rules
• Configured and managed:
• Rule usage and setup
• Rule-to-profile linkage
• Message Refinement functionalities
• GPP access control and security setup for banking users

2. Payments Flow Expertise

• Demonstrated strong understanding of the following payment flows:
• High-Value payment workflows
• Low-Value end-to-end processing
• Real-Time Payments (RTP) processing
• ACH payment flows

3. Messaging & Data Attributes

• Worked extensively with payment message attributes, including:
• Logical Fields
• Logical Fields XPath

4. Business Profile Configuration

• Configured and managed key business profiles such as:
• Offices
• Accounts
• Parties
• NCC
• MOP
• Implemented Standard Settlement Instructions (SSI) in GPP for various domestic and correspondent banks.

5. Defect Triage & Testing

• Analyzed GPP trace logs to identify root causes of production and test issues.
