Government Relations AND Litigation Leader (Full-Time)

Desired candidate profile

• Engaging with Senior Government Officials and presenting Memos, Representations on behalf of clients.
• Tracking New Policies, Legislations and Circulars issued by Government of India
• Seeking Incentives, Grants and Concessions from the Government of India under programs such as Make-in-India, RoDTEP and MEIS.
  Engaging with Public Sector Units (PSUs) for IPR Infringements on behalf of the clients.
  Ability to mentor and guide, review work, and lead a team of young lawyers and juniors
• Thorough with CPC, CrPC, Constitutional Law, and Court Filing procedures;
• Excellent Legal Drafting (Pleadings and Contracts) Skills;
• Handling Trials, including cross-examinations
• Experience of Court Appearances across India, including the Supreme Court of India;
• Art of Handling Individual and Corporate clients directly
• Brief Senior Advocates and make briefing notes before Court Arguments
• Excellent English Communication Skills -- oral as well as written (emails)
• Willing to travel across India to attend cases and engage with local lawyers, investigators, and law enforcement agencies.Role & responsibilities
