Job Brief: - AU Small Finance Bank Limited is seeking a meticulous and experienced professional to join our Operations and Services team, specializing in the evaluation and appraisal of gold assets for loan processing. Responsibilities :-
- Conduct thorough physical inspection and verification of gold items submitted as collateral for loan processing.
- Accurately assess the purity, weight, and market value of gold assets using standardized testing methods and tools.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current gold market prices and trends to ensure precise valuation.
- Prepare detailed appraisal reports and documentation in compliance with the banks policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with loan officers and operations teams to facilitate smooth processing of gold-backed loans.
- Identify and report any discrepancies, counterfeit items, or potential fraud related to gold collateral.
- Ensure adherence to safety and security protocols during the handling and storage of gold items.
