Job Brief: - AU Small Finance Bank Limited is seeking a meticulous and experienced professional to join our Operations and Services team, specializing in the evaluation and appraisal of gold assets for loan processing. Responsibilities :-
- Conduct thorough and accurate appraisal of gold items submitted as collateral for loan processing, ensuring adherence to industry standards and bank policies.
- Evaluate the purity, weight, and market value of gold assets using standardized testing methods and equipment.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of gold market trends, pricing fluctuations, and regulatory guidelines affecting gold loan operations.
- Collaborate with loan officers and operations teams to verify collateral details and support loan disbursement processes.
- Prepare detailed appraisal reports and documentation to support loan approval and audit requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all internal controls, legal regulations, and audit standards related to gold asset evaluation.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or potential risks associated with gold collateral to senior management promptly.
- Train and mentor junior appraisers and operations staff on gold valuation techniques and compliance protocols.
- Participate in periodic audits and quality checks to maintain the integrity and accuracy of appraisal processes.
