Responsibilities :-
- Conduct thorough and accurate appraisal of gold jewelry and bullion to determine market value for loan sanctioning purposes.
- Stay updated with current gold market prices, purity standards, and industry trends to ensure precise valuation.
- Verify the authenticity and purity of gold items using standard testing methods and equipment.
- Collaborate with loan officers and operations teams to facilitate smooth processing of gold-backed loan applications.
- Maintain detailed records of appraisals, including photographs, weight, purity, and valuation reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory guidelines related to gold loan appraisal and documentation.
